And they only take a few minutes to make!

I made these stone cabinet knobs from the old cabinet knobs that we took off of a bathroom vanity before we demo-ed it.

(I just love taking something old and upcycling it into something new — This is a lamp I upcycled out of an old 1980s lamp.)

These knobs unscrewed so they were easy to disassemble and the knob base came off in a separate piece.

This is the knob base:

If you don’t have old knobs like these laying around, you can order knob bases here.

For mine, I needed to cut off the shank end so I put it in a vise and used a hacksaw to cut it off.

Next, I took 3 stones off of a sheet of stone pebble tile. These stones work really well because they are all flat on the bottom where I will be gluing the knob base. I chose 3 stones that were all the same color and approximate size and shape.

Then I just used Gorilla Super Glue Gel and glued the knob base to the center of the back of the stone.

I let it dry thoroughly — it usually takes a few hours to become completely set.

And that’s all there is to it!

I drilled holes and installed my stone cabinet knobs onto my cabinet doors and marveled at how great they look and how much I love them!

Now I smile every time I walk into my laundry room!
