Table For Two
(this post contains affiliate links)
Mr. Redoux and I have an anniversary coming up in a couple of weeks.

(I can’t believe it’s been 46 years since we said ‘I Do’!!
Clearly, we were just kids back then…)
And with that in mind,
my thoughts have turned to romance.
Specifically, a romantic table for two.
And since it’s 84 degrees here today
I thought about setting up a table for two
to dine al fresco
in the garden
at sunset.
Wouldn’t that be lovely?
(Just an FYI: I use the term ‘garden’ loosely — what we have is a yard that we haven’t done anything with yet but I still think it could be nice)
So here’s what I’m thinking:
I’ll start with my round metal table…

It’s exactly the right size.
add a couple of wooden garden chairs…

use my chenille throw for a tablecloth…

add flowers in a soup tureen I just got at an Estate Sale…

then some plates, napkins and silverware…

and of course, candles!

I’ll also toss in a throw just in case it gets chilly…

Ta-Da!
Doesn’t it look like the perfect table for two for a sunset dinner??

So everything’s ready for our romantic anniversary dinner.

As it gets dark, you can start to see the city lights…

So maybe you don’t have an anniversary coming up
but there is a romantic date on the calendar that’s just around the corner…

And maybe it’s not 84 degrees where you are right now
but you could easily set this up
in front of a picture window
or a cozy fireplace.

So here’s to romance (even after 46 years!)
and candles
and sunsets
and a table for two
